In this video, Jared takes a look at some of the best apps found on the XDA forum “Android Apps and Games”. Here are the top five apps reviewed in this video.
1. Color Changer
Adjust the saturation and even the RGB colors beyond the manufacturer restrictions. Color changer requires root access and allows you to adjust the color and saturation of your display. Set your own custom color profiles with red, green, blue and saturation levels. There’s also an outdoor mode that boost the colors for significantly improved visibility.
2. Adclear
Adclear is an ad blocker for non-rooted phones. As of right now, this app is actually free for download through the XDA forum. Adclear works really well, is very simple to use and has an awesome UI.

3. Do it Later
Do it Later is an outgoing SMS and Email scheduling app. Set predefined emails or texts to be sent at a time and date of your choice.
4. Magnify for Instagram
Automatically generate tags for Instagram based on a single topic. Add your own set of tags to be used in the future for specific photos. This app is great for avid Instagram users.
5. Nexus Launcher
This is the next version of the Nexus Launcher that includes a bunch of new features like daily wallpapers. The Google Now slide-out feature requires root access, but everything else should work on any non-rooted device.
