Leaked Photos Reveal the Xiaomi Mi 5 and its Packaging

We already know the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 is set to be announced on February 24th and today we get some live photos of the device and its retail packaging. As with all Xiaomi boxes, it’s just a brown box with a logo in the corner. But then we get to see a couple of photos with the device resting inside the box.

Hangouts 7.0 Brings Quick Reply Directly from the Notification

Hangouts 7.0

Hangouts received an update this week that brought a much desired feature to the app. You can now tap on the Reply button within a notification message and it will bring up a quick reply box. The update also lets you save a conversation/contact to the home screen, and it even makes the app more Material Design friendly with various UI tweaks.

Google is Phasing Out “Mark as Unhelpful” Button for App Reviews

A user on Reddit has spotted a new change regarding Google Play reviews that looks to be rolling out to everyone. Instead of being able to mark a review as unhelpful, you can only give it a thumbs up or mark it as spam. Google either removed this because it didn’t help anything, or they saw the feature abused by users.

Social Media Accounts for “Google Glass” Closed Down

The social media accounts for Google Glass; including its Twitter, Google+ and Instagram; have been given the axe as Google’s plans to bring the “Google Glass” as a brand to the masses have been abandoned. Glass as a product is not dead though, as the Enterprise Edition of Glass is still continued onwards.
